After Muhammad had grown he manged the caravan business and married the women who ownded it at the age 25. Muhammad had started to meditate and pray on the Outside of the city. One day Muhammad was meditating in a cave and then an angel had apeared in front of him and speaking to him. Muhamad was to afraid to tell anybody and only told his wife at first. Muhammad had recieved messages from God making him a prophet and had created the religion called Islam. The followers of islam were called Muslims. The Muslims had recorded these messages In something called the Qur'an. Muhammads teachings were a lot similiar to christianity's and Judiasim's teachings. The teachings brought many diffrent changes in Arabia and peoples life styles. One major rule in Islam is Belief in only one God or monotheism. Islam, Chrisrtianity, and Judiasm have many of the same prophets from the Bible.Muhammad had also tought that If you had believed in Allah would make rich and poor become equal to each other. One other teaching from Muhammad is that people should give money to the poor to help them out.
